Olga Wong is an organist and pianist dedicated to the performance and teaching of sacred music. She holds Master’s degrees in Piano Performance (Stephen F. Austin State University, with Dr. Andrew Parr) and Organ Performance (University of Houston, with Daryl Robinson), and pursued further organ studies with Stefan Engels at Southern Methodist University.
As both performer and educator, Wong’s training in both organ and piano has given her understanding of the technical and artistic development of keyboard students, particularly those transitioning from piano to organ. Her background as a staff accompanist and piano graduate assistant has informed her sensitive and pedagogically grounded approach to keyboard teaching.
Wong was awarded First Prize in the William C. (Bill) Hall Organ Competition and Third Prize in the TMEA Young Artist Competition (Piano). Most recently, she served as organ faculty for the 2024 Summer Organ Academy organized by the American Guild of Organists (Hong Kong Chapter) and the Pipe Organ Encounter 2025 (Houston Chapter).
As a church musician, she has served as Director of Sacred Music at seminary, overseeing sacred music curricula, directing scholae cantorum, and teaching sacred music classes. Wong continues to perform as a soloist and collaborative artist, while remaining deeply committed to the restoration and promotion of sacred music through education and liturgical service. Whether at the organ during liturgy or directing the schola, she finds her truest vocation –serving God and community through music that opens the heart to prayer, and draws people more deeply into the sacred mystery.
